sourbanana04's having Twins! Story

i was 7 weeks prego when we found out our baby and turned into BABIES. jared and i went in for the first u/s ( i had previously suffered a MC 6mo. prior).i was laying on the table looking at the screen and INSTANTLY new. there was no question. the doctor didn't even get the chance to tell us before i said " IS THAT TWINS!!??" her reply while chuckling was "yep". jared by my side had the hugest grin on his face. the doctor commented on the fact that i knew before she even told us. i told her i have seen a many u/s pic. and know their is suppose to be ONE black area with a peanut and i had TWO black areas with two peanuts. i about died when she started looking for the third, which then i would have fallen off the table! my reaction was laughter. i couldn't stop! that and saying OMG over and over. the doc. had to finally tell me that i had to stop laughing so she could monitor them. it was surreal. when i had to u/s pic. of the two of them in my hand i could do nothing but shake my head in awe. it was amazing. to know you are nesting and protecting one life growing inside of you is huge, then to find out there are two, i just couldn't get my head around it! good thing i had about 6mo left to prepare myself! we called everyone. my grandma new. as soon as i was rubberbanding my pants at 4-5 weeks aleady she new something was up. my mother just bawled. sadee and hanna are her first grandchildren. the funniest part is??? my husband is a frateranl twin, he also has a set of boy/girl fraternal siblings.... now they say it is all in the woman, and according to the doc my girls are fraternal ( no blood work has ever been done), and fraternals are the hereditary type of twin.... there is NO, and i mean NO twins on my or my mothers side of the family. it was just a blessing to see those two babies.
