It was March 10, I went in to see my midwife and
had a normal apointment. I had asked though what were her thought's were about
me having twins because at 21 weeks I looked about 9 months pregnant and at 6
weeks I looked about 3 months. My husband had also been teasing me saying I
think you're having twins, your too big for big as far as you are, hehehehe
(little did he know) I thought I was just going to have another big baby DS was
8 lbs 1oz and DD was 9lbs 6oz and twins do not run in either of our families.
Anyways my mid wife said no, you're only having one, you are bigger because with
each pregnancy you get a little larger and you show quicker. So didn't give it
another thought. YEAH, OK! Anyways an hour later I went in for my U/S the first
one at 21 weeks. I was laying there and the tech asked if this was my first U/S.
I said yeah. He then asked um how much do you like kids? I said I must like
them, I am pregnant with my 3rd. He said no really, how much do you like kids? I
said, why???? Not thinking anything. He said ummm because you are having
TWINS!!!!! Then he started busting up. So once he started laughing I thought he
was joking.....Then he showed me the screen, with the two little heads and heart
beats, and OMG if I was not laying on the table I would have been on the floor,
I was laughing and crying at the same time, I didn't know what to think, it was
all so surreal. I think I did not truely believe it until I heard both heart
beats when I had to go in at 26 weeks to stop cntx. DH was not with me either
when I found out he had to stay home with DD because she was not aloud to be
